Your writing this week really cheered me up, thank you! The
comments about Cressida made me laugh and I also loved seeing the photos of Mum and Dad pop up on Insta this week 💕 You’re helping to restore my faith in humanity (comments from your readers do that too) by sharing the good stuff in life - keep it going 😘😘
And I didn’t even mention the fact that she ate one of my dahlias last weekend!!
I’m sorry you had to witness the brutal side of life this week, a truly horrible experience for all involved, but it’s always good to remember that there are an awful lot of really decent people out there too! Xx
You’re right, most people aren’t arrogant, war mongers or vicious thugs but are able to enjoy the little things in life like your pottery or series two of Rivals! 😘
May I suggest the Isles of Scilly for your Aug holidays. It is no longer the case that it is impossible to book somewhere in the school holidays - people are finding it increasingly expensive and so are choosing other destinations instead. It's never crowded and super dog friendly. We're off to St Agnes tmrw and again at the end of August (Scamp coming with us on both trips) so v happy to advise....
Thanks Anna, that’s a lovely suggestion - we’ve never been there! I will look into it as have just rather made an assumption about business…. We may yet end up in Munich moving into an apartment there so I suspect it’ll all be a bit last minute as usual. x
Ooh that’s a lovely suggestion, thank you. T actually hiked around NI north coast a couple of years ago and loved it. Thank you too for your order 🥰 I’ll pop it in the post on Monday. x
I would love to see some of those outfits. Your life is so different over where you are. :). And I must see more of your parent photographs. My mom is 98 and I’m still encouraged to take pictures of her doing things. I just wonder what I’m doing with them all. 🪴
Oh I’m sure she’d be delighted to WhatsApp them all to you too! 😂 Keep taking photos of your Mom - you don’t have to ‘do’ anything with them but I don’t think we’ll ever regret having them. Xx

Maybe you need Otto back to keep her on track 🤣

God I LOVE these photos of your mum and dad, it sums them up beautifully. You really are a talented artist in so many ways. I'm green with jealousy.
Thanks - it was really fun to make them and I hadn’t thought about the photos in a while. x
