Oh my goodness, I LOVE that glaze over the carved clay. It's stunning.

I also loved this line: "Now I love a workshop (hence my hosting them in the past), the opportunity to learn something new amongst kindred spirits is something that rarely fails to lift my spirits, and this one was no different." --> I completely relate to this and wholeheartedly agree ❤️

Thanks for sharing this pleasantness 🥰

What a pleasant week indeed. I’m also getting new glasses. It’s so hard to find a frame that suits. I’ve reached bifocal age though I attempted varifocals which do a lot of things badly, so need to return. 🤓

Lovely as always Vanessa, I need to work on my domestic goddessness at the moment too! Actually, when I think about it, permanently 😂

Happy weekend - it’s turned mighty cold here today after a week of plus 20c - a most unwelcome shock! X

Yes, I do love the Yeo Valley Canteen. Ditto the garden. And the lemon curd yoghurt.

Those cows do look fine beasts but I know that Huw the dog (came from a farm, belongs to our daughter and son in law but comes to us when they're at work) has an innate nervousness around cattle.

I don't know that I do know your sister. We're in Henleaze, BS9 covering a surprisingly large area. A pleasant place to live, agreeable but I'm not sure if anyone would call it enjoyable...

Love the pots, Vanessa. And totally understand your resistance to buy new specs - it always takes me forever to choose new frames!

Thought they looked familiar. We'd met friends for breakfast at Yeo Valley and then went on up the hill to walk the dog when we saw them. And tried to avoid them as dogs and cows are not always good friends. (We're in BS9 and not in lovely north Somerset, alas)

Lovely to hear of what sounds like a busy and productive week to me. Meanwhile, here I feel I have yet to get off the starting blocks. Think I may have met your bovine friends in Burrington Combe on Wednesday. We were walking a dog and taking a route on Burrington Ham to avoid the cows. Heard them calling to each other as they strolled down the road and brought the traffic to a standstill
